- Explore how to better represent your community and influence their future
- Develop awareness of your leadership style and how it impacts your practice
- Join a community of leaders that can support each other
From September 2026 – February 2027, 16 community leaders will learn together for 2 full-day sessions once a month for 6 months, led by an experienced Social Enterprise Academy trainer.
The deadline to apply is Friday 31 July.
The New Scots Leadership programme is open to individuals with an English level of SCQF Level 5 (Upper Intermediate) or equivalent (ESOL Level 2 or CEFR B2).
Feedback from some recent graduates:
“This programme helped me learn to be a leader who can delegate and teach others. It’s made me more organised and taught me how to problem-solve. I really hope the programme continues to help others become better leaders.” Larysa
“This programme showed me how capable I actually am. It was such a comprehensive programme and really improved my leadership skills…It was really inspiring to hear from others who started from zero. The programme really showed me how I can show my value and help others.” Faisal
“This programme has really taught me about what it means to be a good leader, how to motivate others, and how to create an impact. I know many people in my community struggle with mental health issues and their wellbeing, and these skills will help me support them better.” Johnson
