Calling all community groups, artists, and performers—you’re invited to take part in Refugee Festival Scotland 2025!
This year’s festival will run from June 13th to 22nd, and the theme is MILESTONES.
It’s a particularly special year for everyone involved—marking 25 years of the festival and the 40th anniversary of Scottish Refugee Council – coordinators of the festival.
Scottish Refugee Council is inviting you to create your own celebrations of milestones and the cultural richness within your community, bringing people together from all backgrounds across Scotland.
Do you have an idea for an event or activity that highlights refugee arts and culture, or one that unites people from different communities? We’d love to hear from you!
Your event can take any form—whether it’s an exhibition, puppet show, poetry reading, sing-along, or even a family-friendly picnic—so long as it’s open to the public. This is a festival for everyone, and we want YOU to be a part of it.
Event submissions are NOW OPEN. The deadline to submit your event is 12pm on Friday, 25th April.
